Inglot Palette!!!

Inglot 10 square eyeshadow palette $50.00

I love this palette. The price is great compared to getting a MAC palette, don't you agree? It may seem like a huge investment, but when it comes down to it, it's $5/eyeshadow. The majority of the shades are super super pigmented, but there are a few that I chose that were quite sheer without a few layers. The matte black in the palette is definitely comparable to MAC Carbon (color, pigment, everything). If I could, I would have had one of each of their colors. For those who aren't familiar with Inglot, EnKore did a tour of the store here:

I chose colors I would wear often, and then a few blues that I don't see everyday. I am not fortunate enough to be able to sample a lot of their products, but I give Inglots 2 thumbs up based on this palette. It is unfortunate that they do not advertise that much and lack stores in the US. A lady walked into the store while I was choosing my colors, and asked if the store was a Sephora and when told not, asked where it was. She obviously did not take a second to look at the amazing products in the store. I was blown away, and for anyone who has an opportunity, please visit them. They are right next to the M&M store and across the street from the Hershey store just for references.

In The Groove Cremesheen Lipstick Jazzed

Jazzed is a beautiful lipstick. It is a perfect coral orange color. My first lipstick of this color family, I love it so far. It give off a lot of color because it's a cremesheen, and I think it is perfect for the summer. No complaints!

In The Groove Duo Blush: Happy Together & New Vibe

Most people agree that MAC must have improved their formula for these blush duos, because they are definitely mush easier to work with in my opinion. There is just something about it that I like a little more than some of the other products they have released before. I picked out only two that were to my liking, Happy Together and New Vibe. There are swatches of each individual color, and them mixed together 50/50.

Happy Together $23.00

Happy Together is a toned down natural looking flush of color. Though not quite a bright blush for me, I like the two tones in this duo. They create a very soft glow on the cheeks with the combination of the darker earthy red brown and the reddish pink light color. I also love this product as a travel item, because it would provide a nice everyday cheek color and also, when applied wet, can be used to create a very pretty neutral look. I will try my best to put up a tutorial using this product demonstrating the ways I would use it to create one look. I rate Happy Together a 4/5.

New Vibe $23.00

Temptalia gave this product an okay review saying it is a very muted raspberry color and there wasn't very much of a payoff, and I did not expect to pick this up because of her review, but when I came face to face with this product I had to get it. This one features a deep raspberry color and a bright shimmery gold, and when blended creates a gorgeous blush. I thought maybe I was just having a bad judgment day, so I asked one of the girls there to give me their opinion on their favorite blush and they chose New Vibe. This girl's opinion did it, and I purchased the blush. It has plenty of color payoff, and honestly, I prefer it over the Band of Roses, which although is a pretty color, is a bit too loud for me. Band of Roses require a bit more maintenance then I would like unlike New Vibe. I rate New Vibe a 4/5.

In The Groove MSF Review: Petticoat, By Candlelight, & Stereo Rose

MAC re-released a couple of mineralized skinfinishes in the recent In The Groove collection, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on Stereo Rose, which sold out within hours online and also in stores, and Petticoat which is quite popular also. I had already had By Candlelight when it came out with the Warm & Cozy collection, but it was never swatched or reviewed. Here are swatches (there is a concentrated swatch and a blended swatch) and my thoughts on each of the products:

Petticoat $28.00

Petticoat is a beautiful mauve pink shade in everyone's favorite MAC mineralized skinfinish. It has a light pink base with raspberry gold glitter veining through the product. I think it's a perfect frosty blush, and for my skintone, it is a gorgeous color for a natural blush. It is a great year round color as you can use it as a highlight or blush as you wish. The light raspberry/pink color is very subtle. It is definitely a daily wearable product. I rate it a 4/5.

By Candlelight $28.00

I have had By Candlelight since the past winter from the Warm & Cozy collection. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, and I am glad it is back so others could give it a try. It's a very light pink peach frost. By candlelight is my go-to highlight. It is always the perfect color as a eyebrow highlight too. Dust a little underneath, and your arch is immediately illuminated. As an MSF, it is an awesome product, I rate it a 5/5.

Stereo Rose $28.00

I had very high hopes for this product after hearing all the rave about Stereo Rose, so after seeing it sell out online that fast. I called my MAC counter at a Macy's once it opened to have them hold it for me. They have always been really sweet, because I had plans to leave town that morning and wouldn't be back until the evening. I told them my situation, and they happily held the product. Anyway, I really really excited for the product, and when I finally got it, I was disappointed. It is a coral orange based product with fine deep brown veins running through it. Maybe I was picturing a different color, but it is a bit too orange for me. It isn't a bad product, but my hopes were way too high. If I could choose between this and Petticoat, I would choose Petticoat. Regardless, it is an okay coral type blush for me to use. I rate it a 4/5, it is a good item, I just expected too much.
